Growing out of a LinkedIn based group Founded in 2008, Business in Japan is the world's largest networking group for English-speaking professionals looking to do business in, with, and/or related to Japan. There are over 85,500 members with about 1/3 based in Japan, the rest outside looking in - interested!

Also host to Japan's most unique general networking events, Business in Japan connects professionals both offline and online in meaningful and constructive ways to further Business in Japan, or just a professional life in or related to Japan.

Since COVID has generally settled into part of 'normal life' BIJ will aim to do and to support others doing Japan & Business related in-person events.

BIJ will still run some events online likely using LinkedIn Live Audio or other platforms, and we are interested in partnering with anyone running Japan related events offline/in-person, online or hybrid.
