Michihiro Nishi
**Michihiro Nishi**
Michihiro Nishi focuses on international corporate transactions involving corporate law and securities law. He has advised private equity funds and public companies in their investments, corporate governance and disclosure matters and stock exchange issues. He also advises on data privacy, antitrust law, employment law and dispute resolutions.

Mr. Nishi joined Skadden in 2008 and has worked at the firm’s Tokyo and Palo Alto offices. Since April 2016, he has been lecturing year-round at Keio University Faculty of Law on corporation law practice (advanced).

Wayne Schmidt

On the topic of GDPR implementation our next speaker Mr. Wayne Schmidt will provide you with some guidelines regarding steps that need to be taken to get you on the road to GDPR compliance.

He has long-term experience in the data protection and cybersecurity industry as well as in distributed systems, spanning architecture, design, operations, development, engineering, risk, audit, management, and consultancy. He focuses on secure, supportable, and Systems and IT service delivery, while ensuring value to clients to manage cost, risk, and quality in their business.

GDPR compliance being one of the main obstacles for Japanese firms, he agreed to offer his services and answer your questions regarding GDPR implementation to help firms avoid being fined with 4% of their global annual revenue

Ted has over 20 years of C-level experience at Vodafone, Fidelity, and the J-Phone Group. He currently runs a fast growing enterprise software company, Kenja KK. He also is a Professor of Leadership, Marketing, and Strategy at NUCB Graduate School of Business.
