You're invited to an exclusive networking event with three well-known Tokyo people connectors - Andrew Shuttleworth, Gary Bremermann and Jason Ball. Over their combined decades in Japan, they've helped thousands grow their careers, businesses and networks through connecting GoodPeople. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Room to Read (more below).
Jason, Andrew, and Gary will introduce themselves and their current activities and make very brief remarks on their favorite networking tips.
So no need to sit through long-winded presentations, just come on out and connect with new people and catch up with familiar faces over drinks and light appetizers. :-)
Andrew Shuttleworth will be back in Tokyo for the first time in nearly 2 years. He's been based in Singapore since 2017 after 18 years in Japan. Andrew organised many networking events while in Tokyo including Tokyo 2.0 and NetTokyo. He now works for the Asia Digital Lab (Please follow us) of Obayashi Corporation, driving innovation in construction and the built environment.
Gary Bremermann is a Tokyo-based recruiter focused on bilingual advertising & marketing professionals and a certified career coach. He helps bilingual professionals land jobs and achieve career goals, and recently launched the "Happy Mondays Career Kaizen" e-learning course www.careerkaizencourse.com. He's known for hosting Gary's Happy Hour and Beers For Books events for many years. Beers for Books has evolved into Drinks For a Day, still championing childhood literacy and gender equality in education through Room To Read's Girls' Education Program Room to Read.
Jason Ball, an Australian also with over 18 years of living & working in Japan, now living on the Gold Coast, Australia, is the driving force behind Business In Japan (BIJ), a thriving community of over 85,000 members interested in Japan. With nearly 20,000 direct LinkedIn connections, he's organizing four annual trips to Japan this year and is launching an exclusive BIJ membership program. His professional experience includes IT-related services sales, consulting, engagement management, project management and IT service operations.
Every drink purchased contributes to a great cause. For every 500 yen spent, 100 yen - indeed every other yen over costs, goes to Room to Read to provide one day of literacy education for girls in countries like Nepal, Cambodia, Tanzania, etc. Help support their mission of unlocking potential through education, while you network. We'll have a simple drawing for fun prizes for those who'd like to increase support for the cause.
With around 100 professionals expected and space limited to not too many over that, sign up today to join this powerhouse gathering!
